Ridged Slats®

Our team can help improve the privacy and look of your chain link fence with our attractive, economical, and durable Ridged Slats®. Each box contains 82 slats and covers up to 10 linear feet. Also, included in each box are 3 Viper Channel™ pieces 42” in length (allowing for 10’ of coverage with 6” for spare). These single-wall, bottom-locking Ridged Slats® come in a variety of colors.

Ridged Slats® are made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), color pigments, and ultra violet (UV) inhibitors specifically designed to retard the harmful effects of the sun and lengthen the life of the product.

Each slat measures approximately 1-¼ inches wide with the length being approximately 3 ½” shorter than the overall height of the fence, (e.g. 6’ slats are 68.5”). These vertical privacy inserts add approximately 85 percent privacy to regular 2” diamond, 11-gauge chain link fabric. They also work with 9 or 11 ½ gauge chain link fabric. The diamond is measured from inside to inside of each parallel side. The larger the diamond, the less privacy achieved.

Simply wash with water or high pressure water.

Installation of Ridged Slats® is very simple and requires no special tools. Slats easily slide down vertically through the chain link and lock into the Viper Channel™ Locking System. Each box includes 3 Viper Channel™ pieces 42” in length, allowing for 10’ of coverage with 6” for spare. These channels are attached to installation instructions and an ‘orange’ ribbon, which extends out the end of the box for easy retrieval. See the installation diagram below
